Series of five paintings: A Day At The Seaside now SOLD
This abstract series tells a story of a child’s long day, arriving on an empty beach in the calm of the morning knowing that time stretches ahead with no pressures or parameters. The playing in sand, investigating shallow waters, the backdrop of rocks and land mass and a chilled feeling that there’s just nothing else to think about apart from water and sand.
The day moves on, there’s more activity as groups collide and the atmosphere shifts slightly, a more determined sense to get things done and make the most of the last hours.
Then ultimately the evening looms and it’s time to pack up, energy spent, reflections on a perfect day, glancing back to the horizon as you depart.
These are 30x30cm acrylic abstracts on cradled panels, and hang unframed.
Now all sold and in their new homes.
